AnyMind Group is currently accelerating our transformation into an AI-native company, incorporating AI across all business domains and organizational functions. Every employee and business unit is redesigning our work processes, products, and roles based on AI to meet the ambitious goal of “doubling productivity in one year.”
This initiative focuses on “restructuring workflows with AI integration,” and we will introduce the efforts underway, the solutions to challenges, and the advantages we are experiencing.
The evolution of business automation through AI can be viewed in three major phases:
Phase 1: Tool Evolution (Efficiency of Individual Tasks) In this phase, AI is used as a “tool” to reduce work time and effort in individual tasks. It focuses on improving limited tasks and repetitive work. There is no impact on the entire business process, and only localized improvements are made.
Phase 2: Workflow Restructuring (Redesigning Business Processes) This phase involves reviewing the entire business process, connecting multiple tasks and systems, and fundamentally redesigning the workflow. Rather than merely optimizing individual parts, the entire workflow is restructured from scratch to achieve significant efficiency gains and speed improvements. In other words, this initiative is about reconstructing business flows with AI as the foundation, based on an approach that starts “from scratch.”
Phase 3: Intelligence (Autonomous AI Operations and Co-Creation with Humans) In this phase, AI autonomously performs business operations and is run in real time, allowing humans to focus on creative tasks such as management and new business development. This leads to the creation of an AI-Native organization that optimizes co-creation through dialogue between AI and humans.
While many companies have accelerated the use of AI as a tool in Phase 1, challenges remain in transitioning to AI agents and co-creation in Phases 2 and beyond.
In reality, while the evolution of generative AI and large-scale language models has increased the adoption of AI, cases where initiatives stop at the Proof of Concept (PoC) stage without reaching steady operations are often seen. This is due to the lack of specialized personnel, deficiencies in data infrastructure, and difficulties integrating with existing systems.
Furthermore, to establish AI organization-wide and ensure sustainability, a comprehensive project design and driving force for Phase 2 and beyond are crucial.
Today, AnyMind advancing efforts in Phase 2 and beyond to realize AI workflows. We focus on three key points:
Clarification and Tracking of KPIs
The results of productivity improvements are measured quantitatively, and setting high goals (KPIs) motivates employees to continuously perform. We have thoroughly analyzed the daily workflows across all offices and businesses globally, identifying over 13,000 tasks.
These tasks were analyzed by the AI App Studio team, and for each initiative, we calculated the operational savings and set KPIs. Through continuous tracking and feedback, we are pushing towards achieving the goals.
The main KPIs we have set towards achieving “doubling productivity in one year” are as follows:
Next is resource reallocation and progress management.
Time and personnel saved through AI are appropriately reallocated to new projects or creative tasks. Simple and repetitive tasks will be processed by AI agents in real time, achieving sustained productivity and improvement.
Even in creative fields like marketing and design, AI will support brainstorming and drafting, while experts finalize the work, resulting in higher productivity. This shift allows human resources to be focused on higher value-added areas, such as strategic planning, new business development, and creative direction.
In each business, we are clearly defining “what kind of value-added work should be invested in” with the time saved and resources created, and are moving forward with our efforts. The transformation brought about by the use of AI is not limited to simply improving operational efficiency and reducing costs. The entire organization must work together to create new value and optimize its operations, including deciding “what to invest in for future growth.”
Finally, sharing and embedding the vision is also essential.
We share a larger vision of “what we aim for” beyond productivity improvements (such as “creating more customer value” or “enhancing global competitiveness”) within the company and foster a culture that directs any newfound capacity towards constructive challenges.
Rather than limiting AI usage to temporary announcements or efforts by a few dedicated individuals, it is crucial to create a culture where AI is regularly discussed and practiced, from top management to managers and frontline staff.
Specifically, we implement programs to recognize excellent AI practices across the globe, share information through country and business leaders, and ensure thorough progress tracking in key meetings.
Additionally, our senior leadership team, including the CEO, CFO, and country managers, holds weekly meetings and actively drives these initiatives. The proactive involvement of top management is essential to realizing this transformation.
Our group operates in 15 countries and regions, spanning 24 locations, and is a complex matrix organization with multiple business lines. As such, developing and implementing AI workflows is highly challenging and requires advanced practical skills. Through these challenges, we have cultivated unique, field-based insights and practical know-how, as well as tailored solutions. Moving forward, we aim to provide these insights and solutions to an increasing number of client companies and strongly support their growth and transformation.
This year, we launched “AnyAI Workflow” to support our customers in automating their operations. Based on the AI agent development and business transformation know-how we have cultivated internally, a specialized team dedicated to DX promotion and AI utilization will accompany our customers from implementation to operational stabilization. By combining AnyAI – our data and AI integration platform – at the core, global technological infrastructure, and local operational capabilities in each country, we aim to support companies in automating operations to improve productivity and enable quicker decision-making.
“AnyAI Workflow” provides one-stop support for the series of steps necessary to successfully implement AI agent projects. Specific support services include the following:
In this way, “AnyAI Workflow” is not just about providing tools, but offers comprehensive support that spans business process transformation, talent development, and performance verification. By merging our technology with field expertise, we provide customized AI utilization support optimized for each company’s environment, contributing to the improvement of client companies’ productivity and strengthening their competitiveness.
The evolution of AI is rapid, and for businesses, the ability to “adapt to this speed” is the key differentiator for competitiveness. That is why we focus not only on “knowing” technology trends but also on how quickly we can catch up, combine them with our own know-how and assets, and “practically apply them through our own implementation.” This is not just about improving operational efficiency; it is also a challenge to shape the future of work and service value.
At AnyMind, we share the insights gained through our internal implementations with client companies, contributing to business improvement and accelerating business growth. These initiatives embody one of our five values, “Move Faster”—a commitment to embracing change, acting swiftly, and continuously moving forward.
Moving forward, AnyMind will continue to evolve without stopping, staying at the forefront of working with AI, and delivering new value to society and our clients.
