Warehouse Manager

We are looking for an experienced and organized Warehouse Manager to oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a range of goods in our warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the warehouse team, ensuring that all processes are running smoothly, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and optimizing the layout of the warehouse for improved efficiency. The Warehouse Manager will also be expected to enforce health and safety standards, develop and implement best practices for warehouse operations, and coordinate with other departments to ensure timely fulfillment of orders. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

What You'll Do

• Oversee and manage all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing products
• Lead and supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
• Maintain accurate inventory records and implement inventory control measures
• Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to ensure efficient operations
• Enforce health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for warehouse activities
• Coordinate with purchasing and production teams to ensure timely receipt and delivery of goods
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to inventory, shipments, or warehouse operations
• Continuously assess warehouse operations and implement improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
• Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance and inventory levels for management review

Who You Are

• Proven work experience as a warehouse manager or similar role
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management best practices
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or relevant field (preferred)
